Manifesting By Rajeeyah Finnie-Myers
When I think about manifestation these days, I can't help but refer back to the many conversations, meetings, sessions and even simple moments that I've shared with 3 special women for the past 5 years now. We've called ourselves the Echo-makers, God-is Manifest, friends and much more but really I can't think of a word that truly describes the magic of our relationship with one another. We started out as a group of women dedicated to supporting one another's creative process. We came together to listen, to sing, to dance, to praise, to support and to awaken and strengthen our voices. At times onlookers were intrigued and even captured us in photos. But ultimately this has been a very personal journey.
Our manifestation circle transformed into being exactly what I needed when I needed it year after year. It has challenged me when I've become complacent. It's lifted me up in my lowest moments. It's made me laugh when I've taken myself way to seriously. It's given me the confidence to ask for what I want. And it's reminded me that it's okay to change my mind.
What does it mean to manifest? It means to allow the truth of who we are to unfold before us from moment to moment to moment. Consciously or unconsciously we are are all manifesting. And the most difficult part of it all is realizing just how simple it is to just do it.
